BREAKING: Conoil filling station Abuja, opposite NNPC headquarters, on fire (PICTURED)....

According to emerging reports, an inferno has broken out in a Conoil filling station in the heart of the Federal Capital Territory. The blaze is said to have begun at about 3:00 p.m and it was still raging as at the time of filing this report.

Premium Times reports:

The Conoil filling station is opposite the headquarters of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in the Abuja Central Area District.

NNPC fire service officials and others are currently trying to put out the fire, the cause of which is yet to be determined.
